PalmFest, an annual festival celebrating the unique cultures and vibrant history of Deep South Texas will be held at McAllen Convention Center (West Expressway 83 & South Ware Road) on October 4 (1-10 pm) & October 5 (1-8 pm), 2008.
This exciting international folklife celebration captured an audience of about 16,000 during its first year and about 30,000 during its second year. It is a fun and festive weekend of music, ethnic foods, authenic cultural entertainment, children's activities and much more!
Hosted by the City of McAllen (The City of Palms), McAllen Heritage Center, The Fajita Cookoff, McAllen South Rotary, and McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
Free Admission and Free Parking make this event unique among Valley festivals.
